7 of the cutest hearing dog videos

Posted by Matt Sadler

Super Scout has passed the first stage of his hearing dog training, Albert goes shopping, our cocker spaniel puppies have fun outside, and Hamlet is a superstar.

1. Super Scout has passed his Puppy 1 Star

Congratulations to the very cheeky Scout, who has raced through the first stage of his training - the Puppy 1 Star.

Our clever cocker spaniel has been learning his basic cues like 'sit' and 'wait', as well as investigating new objects, sitting in flower pots, and making sure to have lots of fun.

Great job, Scout!

2. Albert is the perfect customer

Hearing dog Albert showed such lovely focus on his partner Sarah during their trip to a busy shop.

There are many possible distractions when out shopping - from interesting items on the shelves, to trolleys and lots of people - and Albert enjoyed a very well-deserved treat for doing a fab job.

3. Sit back, relax, and smile

It's time for a montage of very cute videos, starting off with the playful Micah.

Brothers Kirk and Kyle are having fun in the garden, ambassador dog Bungle is a very happy boy, Ruby's ball keeps on getting away, and much more.

4. It's time to find out a bit more about marvellous Max

Max is a very cuddly Labrador, who loves tennis balls and treats, and is in the final stage of his training to be a sound support dog.

Sound support dogs alert their partners to important and potentially even life-saving sounds within the home, but don't accompany them to public places like hearing dogs do.

You will see Max alert to a timer and also to a smoke alarm. Max lies down to alert to the smoke alarm rather than lead his trainer Lauren towards the noise, as this indicates it is a danger sound.

5. Charging around, tummy rubs and snoozing...

Our very cute eight-week-old cocker spaniel puppies certainly had lots of fun in the sun.

6. Hamlet is doing brilliantly in his training

Handsome Hamlet has taken a big step towards changing a deaf person's life after passing the third stage of his hearing dog training.

Hamlet has been busy practising in public places like shops and cafés, and he also been proving to be the perfect passenger on buses and trains.

Our clever Labrador is now getting ready to start the final stage of his training, which is where he will focus on his soundwork.

7. Seven videos to make you smile

Starting with a little throwback to cockapoo puppy Jessie, and also featuring Ozzie saying hello, Kyle 'sorting' his toys, Hannah practising her recall at the beach, and much more.

Sponsor a puppy and change a deaf person's life

These cute puppies are training to become life-changers. Sponsor them from £5 a month and follow their journey as they learn how to help a deaf person.
