Hello and welcome to Alfie’s Puppy Pen!
Alfie has already learnt how to do a lovely sit!
Alfie is enjoying exploring his new home with Lynn and Tim, his Volunteer Puppy Trainers.
Lynn and Tim live on a lovely small holding farm. This means that Alfie shares his home with lots of interesting animals…
Alfie loves pottering in the garden with his pals, including turkeys, geese, and sheep. He is already learning to be so well behaved and polite in their presence.
What a good pup
Learning to feel calm and relaxed around other animals will be a very important part of Alfie’s hearing dog training. We want Alfie’s future deaf partner to be confident that Alfie is never going to run off and chase after any animals. As Alfie moves through his training, he will continue to develop this key skill.
Alfie has also made friends with Claude the cat…
… and Kirk the puppy, who is another amazing hearing dog in training…
How cute!
It doesn't stop there. Alfie has also befriended a mysterious looking ‘cow’…
We wonder if Alfie has realised that it’s just Tim dressed up in a cow onesie… life can be very confusing for a little puppy!
We are so happy to see that Alfie has already made so many new friends. We can’t wait to watch him grow as he progresses through his training to become a life-changing hearing dog.
