Adventures with Archie

Welcome back to Archie’s Puppy Pen.

An important part of Archie’s training is helping him to feel happy and confident visiting different places. We want him to be able to happily accompany his future deaf partner, to wherever they want to go. To help prepare him for this, Archie has recently been on lots of exciting adventures!

He seems to particularly enjoy exploring the great outdoors.

Whether he is having fun at the beach…

Or exploring on a windy walk…

… he always has the best time!

Sometimes Archie enjoys a trip out to watch a local football game…

“I think I would be good at this game!”

… and he often enjoys a good run around the park afterwards…

Archie doesn’t spend his whole day outside (as much as he loves it!)

One of Archie’s favourite places to visit is the pet shop! Shops like these are great places for Archie to practise his resilience and obedience training. There are lots of exciting distractions in these environments and Archie always does a fantastic job of staying focused.

Clever Archie was allowed to have a new toy and some yummy treats as a reward for being such a superstar!

There’s no place like home. So, after visiting some exciting places, Archie loves getting cosy in his bed…

An interesting sleeping position... but Archie certainly looks very comfy!
