Bella: Sitting and snoozing
Posted by Brendan Cooper
We've mentioned before how Bella likes a snooze.
Here she is taking it easy in her nice comfortable bed. As per usual, you can't make out her eyes!
But have we told you that she likes to sit while she's having her photo taken?
Here she is with a happy spark in at least one of her eyes. She's also doing that thing with her tongue that makes her a candidate for Tongue Out Tuesday.
There's something about the way she sits that we really love. It's like she's saying "Here I am world, ready or not!"
One day this confidence will help a deaf person. Bella will be able to go anywhere and do anything with them, happy to help, anytime, anywhere.
More sitting below, and she just couldn't resist sticking out her tongue again, just a teeeeeeeeeeny bit.
Do you think maybe she's playing a little game with that tongue? Perhaps she knows it makes her look cute.
Still cute below, but much more dramatic now. She's looking into the distance, contemplating her bright future as a hearing dog, helping a deaf person to leave loneliness behind.
Or maybe she's thinking: "What on earth am I doing standing here in front of a scarecrow?"
We don't mind what she's thinking, as long as she looks happy and relaxed, complete with that lovely white patch on her chest.
Meanwhile, over at the pond...
She's letting us see her left eye this time, with a tiny bit of right eye, while adopting a relaxed pose. Sitting again though. Perhaps she thinks that is her best side?
Even when facing full on it's difficult to make out both of her eyes!
She's definitely a happy puppy though, whether sitting on the beach, in the rolling countryside...
... or in the car!
Still sitting, obviously. It's her 'thing'. She's especially happy doing it when there are toys nearby.
But at the end of the day, after sand, countryside, woodland, ponds and scarecrows...
... she does like a snooze!
And in that photo, not only can we not see her eyes, we're not even entirely sure which way is 'up'.
It doesn't really matter. Bella is beautiful no matter which way round she is, and those happy eyes sparkle all the time, even if we can't see them. She's a lovely dog, and we all adore her. We hope you do too!
Until your next Pupdate... thank you for sponsoring Bella!
