Which Bertie photo is the cutest?

Posted by Brendan Cooper

So. Bertie. Bertie, Bertie, Bertie...

We've been taking photos of little Bertie ever since he was a very little Bertie indeed!

Here he is with all his little Bertie family at just a few weeks of age. Or is that a big Bertie family? Or is it a big family of little Berties? We're not 100% sure which one is Bertie, but given there are three brown ones, it's a one in three chance!

If you thought that was cute, then how about this?

That was taken when we knew Bertie was 'the chosen one', who would go on to be a sponsor puppy. He had that bit of magic about him. Was it in the eyes? Or was it the delicate cream markings? Or perhaps it was the slightly crinkly whiskers? It doesn't really matter: Bertie was cute!

He continued to live with his family until they were eight weeks old. This time we have a strong feeling he's the one second from the right. He stands out - literally!

Then, of course, just as we'd got them all lined up, someone had to go and bring the food bowl out...

Still cute though!

If you haven't had enough cuteness yet, then how about Bertie curled up asleep with one of his siblings?

That must be such a lovely way to snooze, all warm and cuddly, safe and secure.

And if none of those photos are cute enough for you, then this one surely is...

See what we mean? Cute!

Bertie is such a cutie-pie, but he's a very special puppy because he's going to change a deaf person's life. He's going to do this with your support too. It's the start of a long, excitiing journey together, so from all of us, thank you for sponsoring Bertie!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
