Trees, leaves and Buddy cuddles

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Time for more Buddy!

He's definitely developing. He's progressed from pouncing on individual leaves...

... to attacking entire trees!

He didn't have much to show for it unfortunately.

Better luck next time Buddy!

Still, at least he tried. Sometimes he doesn't quite make it outside.

And sometimes not even that far!

What we see in those videos and photos is a puppy that is happy and healthy. We encourage our puppies in their early months to explore the world, and realise that it's to be enjoyed. There's no doubting Buddy's enjoyment of attacking that tree!

We also see a puppy growing in strength and confidence. It's quite a step from a leaf to an entire tree, and it just shows how well his volunteers are bringing him up.

So, he might be growing, but he still loves his toys. Well, he's still a puppy! Awwwwwww!

And he is still very, very cuddly. Just look at that face! That's a happy chappy! Although he looks more content here - content, safe, secure, just as a puppy should be.

He's also decided that he likes the laundry basket. He's quite unusual in that he seems to like it empty. A lot of puppies really love snoozing in piles of old laundry, but Buddy is quite minimalist. Neat and tidy, that's how he wants it.

We hope you enjoyed this latest look at Buddy's life. He's full of life and love, and will one day help a deaf person to break free of their isolation, and reconnect with the world around them.

For now however, he's a cute, cuddly bundle of energy, and we all adore him. We hope you do too! From all of us, thank you so much for sponsoring Buddy. You're pawsome!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
