Buddy knows how to have fun

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Towards the end of your previous Puppy Pen Pupdate, we mentioned that Buddy might have quite a boopable nose.

What do you think? More boopable now? Less boopable? Or about the same?

Or is he just adorable?

He's all those things and more, of course!

He absolutely loves being in the garden, in the sun, with a favourite toy or three.

Especially when he can have a good old chew of them.

Sometimes it's better to run around with a toy. We really love seeing our puppies having such a good life. It really is all part of training: Buddy has grown to be confident no matter what his surroundings, and to play nicely. He knows when he's training, and needs to focus, but he also knows when it's downtime and he can just be Buddy!

But sometimes it's better to wear a toy than chew it. Here Buddy shows how attractively framed he can look. Purple suits him!

Either way, after running around in the garden, Buddy likes a bit of a snooze.

OK, quite a lot of a snooze!

We've already called him boopable, adorable and attractive. How about...

... handsome?

Buddy is growing up, as you can see, and at some point, every black Labrador starts to look glossy, healthy and handsome. It seems Buddy's reached that stage, and he's done this with your help. You should be very proud of him. We are!

So, until next time, thank you so very much again for sponsoring Buddy!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
