Here are a few of Cookie's favourite things

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Cookie loves most things - but some of them she loves more than others!

First up, she adores the snow. We think she likes the way it cools her down when she's running around like the very excited Spaniel she is.

Isn't that a lovely photo of her? It's so sharp and she looks like she's saying "OK, I've been out in the snow, now it's your turn to dry me off!"

Cookie also loves friends, friends and more friends. The photo below shows her with another dog called Risotto. They're a real pair of characters.

We're not sure what's attracting their attention, but Risotto seems to think it might be tasty! What do you think? Tell us in the comments section below!

Risotto is a friend of the family. He is a mini Goldendoodle (a Golden Retriever and Poodle cross), and he loves Cookie! They enjoy running along the river and in fields together (hence the slightly soggy fur). They also love chasing balls. They each know which is 'their' ball, and take turns running after them. Unfortunately they like hiding them in bushes and then losing them!

While we're on the subject of friends, Cookie also loves meeting other puppies in the park. She especially loves getting them to chase her round and round and round and round and round and round...

Let's move on to another of Cookie's favourites - mud, mud, glorious mud.

Here you can see cause...

... and effect!

We don't think we've ever seen such a clear-cut case of a dog looking like it's actually been very carefully dipped in mud. It seems to suit her though, it goes quite nicely with her brown markings, don't you think?

That's all for now. Thank you for sponsoring Cookie!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
