Let's find out more about Cooper

Let's find out more about Cooper, the Labradorable puppy you're sponsoring!
Here's a montage of all his best bits so far...
So, how did we get such an energetic, healthy, happy puppy? Through lots of care and attention, that's how!
Here's Cooper at four weeks. All together now: "Awwwwwww!"
He's already quite alert, and this is a great sign. We often can tell from a very early age whether a puppy has 'it' - that combination of alertness, intelligence and temperament which, at the end of a long training journey, will help a deaf person to leave loneliness behind.
At six weeks, Cooper starts to look incredibly cute.
And at eight weeks, after plenty of cute puppy snoozes, we have a very excited Cooper, ready to take on the world!
It also didn't take long for Cooper to bond with another dog that Clare is training, called Watson.
This photo was taken on day one. Cue lots of tentative nose-nudges and interested-looking tails.
Before we knew it, they were best buddies. Little and large, you might say!
Cooper even offered to share some of his toys with Watson, and they often played together so much that they just got a bit pooped out (pooched out?) and had a snooze together.
Sometimes they even made it to the bed.
It's OK - you can say 'Awwwwwww!' again if you want to. We do, all the time.
As you can see, Cooper has made a brilliant start to his journey. He's in a happy, loving home, and is already learning from 'big brother' Watson in so many ways, not least how to play nicely with other dogs. This is so important: one day, when he helps a deaf person, they'll need to know that he's happy around different people, places and faces, and that includes other dogs. Looks like this won't be a problem at all for Cooper!
That's all for now. Thank you so much for helping Cooper make such a great start in life by sponsoring him. You're pawsome!
