Daisy is full of fun

It's Daisy time again!

Let's kick off with one of volunteer Peter's special productions...

Over to Peter for the story behind it: "I made it for our neighbour who moved to Vienna in June and is missing her daily chats to Daisy. Until Daisy came into her life she didn't like or trust dogs but now Daisy has changed all that, she has come to realise that dogs generally speaking, don't want to bite her or bark at her, she just wants Daisy to visit her in Vienna!"

Isn't that nice of Peter? And it's wonderful that Daisy has helped someone overcome a fear of dogs. Who could be afraid of Daisy...?

She's been to plenty of places with Peter and Hazel in their camper van. Here's a visit to Stonehenge where she looked to her right...

... then left...

... then straight ahead...

... but try as she might, she couldn't see the magnificent neolithic structure anywhere. Oh well!

Daisy has learned to settle nicely next to benches even when out in the open.

She also likes to settle on them when she gets the chance.

What do they say, a rose between two thorns? How about a Daisy between lots of bluebells?

Hazel and Peter even chose a caravan site named after her!

Over to Hazel now: "The new duck was bought for her as a special treat, on the day she passed one of her exams."

"We think she likes it especially if I play with her!"

Phew! What a lot of things she's been doing.

And after that, a nice bit of peace for Peter, relaxing in the garden... but Daisy seems to want to do it all over again!

She's so full of energy and fun, and this is because she's been brought up so well by her volunteers - as well as supported by you. So, once again, from all of us, thank you so very much for sponsoring Daisy!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
