Fudge loves snoozes

Fudge loves a little puppy snooze every now and then.

She doesn't have a particular favourite place. It can be the carpet, as above, or in her basket, as below.

It can sometimes be half in the basket, and half out.

Even a nice, warm, fluffy towel will do the trick.

But the most impressive place is her own little sofa bed! Would you look at that!

We love it when puppies sleep. Their sides go in and out, in and out, and they emit occasional little puppy snuffles and whines. In Fudge's case, she's clearly dreaming about her future, helping a deaf person to leave loneliness behind.

We also love that Fudge feels safe and secure enough just to zonk out when and where she wants to. She has a lot of activity during the day, especially during puppy class, so we don't mind her sleeping! We just think it's testament to our wonderful Volunteer Puppy Trainer Jo, that the home she's provided is so welcoming and warm, Fudge is clearly very relaxed. It's the perfect foundation on which to build a brilliant hearing dog.

Sometimes however, Fudge does wake up, especially when demanding entry.

Or being very, very, very interested in what's in the fridge.

And finally, Fudge is still very cute, obviously, but could it be that she's starting to grow up a little...?

She's adorable, and always will be.

Thank you so much for sponsoring her!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
