What makes Gwen happy?

Sometimes we look back at a puppy's training journey and notice certain themes emerging.

In Gwen's case, it's all the things that make her happy - oh, and Panda! 

Let's start with tummy tickles or tickle-tums, call them what you will, Gwen absolutely adores them, especially it seems when she's receiving them from a small person. We've also noticed that Gwen loves being around children, which is a lovely thing to see.

She likes being with them everywhere, whether at the foot of the stairs...

... or going for an exciting car journey. Have you ever seen a happier puppy?

We believe that dogs smile, and Gwen is most definitely smiling in that photo! Happy faces all around, in fact. You see, Gwen also brings happiness wherever she goes, and that will help her eventual deaf partner so very much. She's just a lovely soul, really.

"Oui? C'est moi...?"

Yes, we're talking about you Gwen!

And how you smile...

We've pointed out Gwen's ears before, and they're very expressive. Here you can see everything expressing joy, from her ears in the wind, to the smile that stretches from one ear to the other! 

So, Gwen likes tummy tickles, cuddles, and running. What else?

How about... Panda?

You see, from a very early age it seems Panda has been Gwen's companion, but we only spotted this when we took a look back.

She sleeps with Panda...

... snoozes contentedly with Panda nearby...

... takes Panda out and about with her...

... and makes it known that Panda is hers!

So we're adding Panda to the list. Gwen also enjoys a bit of a giggle, especially when it's during the Great British Dog Walk.

And here's her wonderful, amazing, fantastic Volunteer Puppy Trainer Sandy, who has helped Gwen get so far along her training journey, and who also enjoys a Great British Dog Walk!

But at the end of the day, it's the simple things in life that Gwen seems to enjoy, whether just being happy on a bench, in the sun...

... or with her head on your knee, spending a bit of time together, making sure you're ok, with those lovely, soulful, deep brown eyes of hers.

Gwen is such a lovely little girl, and we're hoping to have some fantastic news about her training quite soon. When we can reveal all, we will! In the meantime, once again, we hope you enjoyed this latest Puppy Pen Pupdate, and thank you so very much for helping Gwen get this far.
