Harvey is making plenty of friends

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Before we continue, let's start this Pupdate, like the last one, with an appreciation of how cute Harvey really is.

Cute!

As Harvey's grown, he seems to have developed a special gift for making special friends. We recently had a fun event with our volunteers, a lot of whom brought along the dogs they're looking after. It was prime time for Harvey to make as many new friends as possible.

And, having made the acquaintance, inviting them to play...

... and maybe even have a bit of a tummy tickle.

Harvey made other friends with whom he liked to share a more private moment. A joke perhaps... ?

Yes, definitely a joke! A doggy joke, something like "What do you get if you cross a gold dog with a telephone?" "A golden receiver!"

Harvey also got to meet his dad, called Harley! Being a Cockapoo, Harvey's part Cocker Spaniel and part Poodle. His 'Poodle half' Harley, to the right, looks on adoringly at his offspring.

Love is all around! And Harvey ended the day looking really happy!

Well, you would, wouldn't you? If you were a cute puppy, loved by everyone, and you'd just enjoyed a day making lots of fab new friends?

Harvey's doing so well, and we'll tell you all about his training when we publish your first full training update. Until then, thank you for sponsoring Harvey!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
