Hebe is a very, very, very cute puppy

Posted by Brendan Cooper

From the white patch on her forehead to the tip of her extremely waggy tail, Hebe is cute through and through.

Here are some never-before-seen photos of Hebe, which you get to see because you sponsored her!

Cute at three weeks

This is when she started to be a bit of a grumbler when she sleeps. She comes out with little mumbles and whiffles, and isn’t very happy when you wake her up. But, well, that’s cute too!

She continued the ‘sleepy puppy’ theme for quite some time, although you have to admit she wears it well…

Cute when she’s asleep…

We did say she likes sleeping lots!

… and cute when she’s awake.

At some point she decided to wake up and start having fun instead.

Just… cute!

See what we mean?

Hebe passed ‘the paper test’ with flying colours. This is when we get our puppies to retrieve a ball of paper. If a puppy naturally wants to investigate this strange new object and bring it back, this tells us that it’s inquisitive and sociable. Hebe retrieved it with no problems at all – again, and again, and again. That was cute too.

Gentle, and adorable, Hebe plays very nicely with everyone. But she’s no shrinking violet. She held her own against her bigger brothers. How would we describe her? Cheerful and full of charm. Oh, and did we mention cute?

Thank you so much for sponsoring her. We will show you how she develops into an amazing hearing dog. It’s quite a journey, but one you will be helping her complete. From all of us at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People – thank you.

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
