More from Hebe's photoshoot

Posted by Brendan Cooper

As you know, we include lovely photos for your printed updates. What you probably don't know however, is that they're a selection of many more photos. They're not 'out-takes' exactly - it's just that we don't have space to show you all aspects of your puppy.

That's what the Puppy Pen is for!

So, below you'll find out more about Hebe, your sponsor pup!

First up, she does love a tummy tickle. We said as much in your previous update. This photo pretty much proves it - and shows you how cute she was as a tiny pup!

Another photo showing you how little Hebe was during the shoot. This is really the only time she doesn't look entirely happy - when she's not able to run around or have her tummy tickled.

Below is a fantastic sequence of shots. We gave Hebe a hearing dogs coat - those smart burgundy numbers that our dogs proudly wear - and she had plenty of fun with it.

We started off by making her look very pretty in the coat. Again, you can see that look that says "Actually I think I'd rather play now."

Then she wriggled...

... and she rolled around...

... and she had a little fight with it...

... and got a little lost in it...

... but eventually she spotted something more interesting and forgot about it.

And that's Hebe! Very cute and full of fun.

Look out for your next mini update coming down the pike. And please, don't forget, you can ask questions here if you like! Why not ask Hebe's volunteer puppy socialiser how she's doing? Or anything more about her training? Or what she eats, or what she does each day? It's up to you. This is your Puppy Pen because you sponsored Hebe, and for that, we thank you.

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
