Henry is having so much fun!

It's Henry time! Welcome back to The Puppy Pen.

You may remember from the last episode, that Henry enjoyed snuggling up in the laundry basket. Well, we can report that it is still one of his favourite spots to relax...

Lovely Henry has made a fantastic start in his training and he is focusing on how to be a super well-behaved puppy. Here he is demonstrating a lovely 'sit'.

Clever pup!

The 'sit' command provides an important foundation for Henry's future training to become a life-changing hearing dog. It encourages him to have good listening skills and be a polite and well-mannered pup.

Henry has also discovered how much he loves the great outdoors...

"We're going on an adventure!"

As well as being a brilliant source of physical and mental enrichment, walks provide another great opportunity for Henry to practise his obedience skills. When Henry's Volunteer Puppy Trainer, Janet, called Henry's name, he immediately stopped and turned around to face her.

The fact that Henry can recognise and respond to his own name demonstrates his excellent listening skills. We are super impressed! This is a fantastic start and will place Henry in good stead for the rest of his training journey.

It looks like that exciting walk has made Henry a sleepy pup. It's time for snooze...
