More photos of Honey with Heather

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Heather's had such a lovely time training Honey, she's taken even more photos!

This time, let's kick off with the selfie. No carrot this time, but they definitely look happy together.

That was taken on a day trip to London. Heather took Honey everywhere, on land and water, to acquaint her with all the sights and sounds (and smells!) that she will encounter when she's matched with a deaf person. The fantastic thing is, Honey is so assured in all these places. Below are some more photos from that trip.

See what we mean? Happy Honey! She was even cool, calm and collected on the Tube journey.

Heather has also taken Honey to public places such as supermarkets where, as an assistance dog, Honey will be able to accompany a deaf person. We're not sure she likes Hot Chilli con Carne...

... but the meat counter looks tempting!

It's not all work. Honey loves splashing around in the water, and Heather gives her plenty of chances to do that.

They also have 'down time' together. Please say hello to Heather's feet!

We think she's saying "Come on, let's play!" What do you think? Let us know below!

And so, once more, from all of us at Hearing Dogs, it's a big 'thank you' for sponsoring her...

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
