Hunter loves fun in the sun!

Hunter loves the sunshine!

If the sun has got his hat on, so has Hunter. His dark colouring means he warms up like a stone and just glows with happiness. Then, all hot and happy, he encourages everyone around him to play.

He also adores exploring! In the garden, under the shed, round the house, he’s so very curious about everything.

Then, satisfied that he’s explored enough, he encourages everyone around him to play.

And he does like a sleep. There’s something about a little black Labrador puppy that seems to suit sleep. It’s the way their little sides go in, and out, in, out, with occasional little puppy snuffles and snorts.

After the sleep, all charged up, guess what he does? That’s right – he encourages everyone around him to play! Again!

One day he’ll change a deaf person’s life. For now, exploring, sunshine, and snoozing will do. And playing too, of course. Again.

If you’ve ever had a Lab, or known one, you’ll understand that they’ll turn themselves out for food. Hunter is no exception. This makes him a very fortunate puppy, because he receives a treat every time he gets something right. You want him to wait? He’ll wait, because a treat will come his way. How about sitting? OK, if there’s a treat in store, why not? Hunter’s going to do really well, and be really happy, because he’s really going to get lots of treats!

Here are some more shots of this Labradorable puppy...

One day, Hunter will transform a deaf person's life, and your sponsorship will have made this possible. It's the beginning of an amazing journey together. From all of us at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People - thank you!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
