Jade catches some sun

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Believe it or not, we did actually have some nice weather this summer. As the sky turns grey and the leaves turn brown, let's remind ourselves of this through some photos of Jade enjoying herself in the garden of Mike and Sandra, her volunteer puppy socialisers.

First up, a tummy tickle. Tummy tickles (or 'tickle-tums' as they are sometimes known) are extremely popular among all our sponsor pups, and Jade is no exception. This looks like Sandra's arm and hand, so it would appear she is the expert tummy-tickler of the household.

Jade is certainly growing up! She's got a wonderfully thick, glossy coat, a sure sign of a healthy dog.

Below, Jade relaxes in style. The white sun-lounger look suits her well. It could almost be an advert! For a happy dog, obviously. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!

Jade looks like she's sitting on the bench waiting for something. Is it a treat? Or is she waiting to hear something? Maybe someone saying "Would you like a treat?" Either way, we think treats might be just off-camera here. You can really see how magnificent her coat has become.

More happy Jade in the sun. There is no doubt that our dogs actually smile when they're happy, and no doubt whatsoever that Jade has a big, happy grin on her face here. She's obviously happy in the company of Sandra - or, at least, her legs!

And finally a really lovely shot of our Jade, looking happy again, and actually very handsome too!

Until the next update, thank you for sponsoring her!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
