Juno is a happy soul

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Juno is still having a fantastic life with her puppy socialising volunteer Tamsin and her mum Tunja!

She doesn't need much to be happy. Just give her a tennis ball, some fish, and a little friend to splash around with, that's all she needs.

First, tennis balls. Tamsin tells us: "The pink tennis ball is her favourite, it's got just enough give she can squeeze it. We often have two (or more) out to play, but that's the one she rolls around with when she's done chasing them."

As you'll see in the video above, towards the end Juno makes it very obvious that she really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, loves being rubbed behind the ear.

Juno also loves a spot of fishing. We're not really sure whether it's just the act of trying to get the fish that she's enjoying here, but we think it probably is. She just loves patting her soft paws and getting really excited! What's not to like?

This isn't strictly 'fishing'. In fact, it's not fishing at all. It's Tamsin's niece enjoying the nice cool water with Juno! We showed you a photo of this in your last Juno update, and since then we've acquired the video to go with it.

So, you see, it's quite a nice life for a sponsor pup really. We'll keep you updated on her training in the full updates, but we hope you enjoy seeing that it's not all work, work, work for our puppies.

Seriously though, Juno's doing so well, and this is because you have supported her this far. Thank you so very much.

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
