Kallie now lives with Sam, Andrew, Ben and Cleo!

Kallie is learning how to recognise sounds! It's a very exciting stage, because it means a lot of changes for her. During weekdays she's being trained how to alert people to sounds such as the doorbell and fire alarm. During weeknights and weekends, she's looked after by a local family so that she continues to have a nice, comfortable, domestic life. We call this 'Bed and Breakfast' and it works really well for everyone - particularly, and most importantly, our puppies.
Kallie's B&B volunteers are Samantha and Andrew, who have two children called Ben and Cleo. They're all delighed to have her around! They also took some really lovely photos of Kallie for us.
Over to Samantha: "Here is a picture of Kallie on her first day at our house. We were all really excited to have her and she looks pretty pleased too."
That is definitely her 'pleased' face. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below!
Over to Andrew: "Here is a photo of Kallie enjoying a walk through the woods to Whiteleaf. She loves running through the leaves and sniffing around the woods."
Whiteleaf is a really pretty local beauty spot high up in the Chilterns. A lot of people walk dogs there, so Kallie is sure to meet plenty of other happy, excited dogs on her walks.
Samantha continues: "Here is a picture of Kallie at the seaside. We went to stay with family in Fareham and this photo was taken at Meon Shore. Kallie loved the sea, jumping in and out of the waves and chasing her beloved ball on the beach."
It's quite a similar pose to her first day isn't it? With the addition of some water and sand. We haven't yet found a dog that doesn't love playing in water, whether it's stream, river, sea, or just a small puddle.
Samantha describes this photo: "Kallie's old friend Selwyn came to stay with us recently. Selwyn was our first B&B dog and he and Kallie lived together with their volunteer puppy socialisers Sharon and Peter. They had a lovely time together playing tug and chasing each other around."
You might remember Selwyn! As Andrew says, he also lived with Kallie's volunteer puppy socialisers Sharon and Peter when Kallie was much smaller. It's really great to see that they're still firm friends.
And finally, back to Samantha again: "Another pic of Kallie and Selwyn. Kallie was fast asleep in her bed and Selwyn couldn't get comfy in his bed so he sneaked onto the end of Kallie's bed to be with her!"
All together now: "Aaaaawwwwwwwww!"
We're getting Kallie's next full update together already, so we'll tell you (and show you) how she's getting along with her soundwork training soon. Until then, from all of us: thank you for sponsoring Kallie!
