Leo is our lovable bundle of energy

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Leo isn’t his star sign, but it’s definitely his personality.

He’s a very confident little boy, always on the lookout for adventure.

He likes gardens the most, because of all the colours, especially when the leaves are golden and yellow. He adores running around in them and rolling all over them until he’s so covered, you can hardly see him!

His strongest positive Leo trait is wanting to have fun with friends. Introduce him to any other puppy, and off he runs with them – best friends immediately, and forever more.

His other ‘Leo’ trait? He wants to be King of the Puppies! This outgoing personality and oodles of confidence will help the deaf person he is matched with to leave loneliness behind and reconnect with the world around them.

When we asked the people looking after him to describe him, they told us: “Leo is a lovable bundle of energy!” We’re happy to go with that.

Leo is a really outgoing little boy, and this is great for his training. There’s no hesitation: he learns new things straight away, and is already doing really well with basic actions such as ‘sit’ and ‘wait’. He’s such a bright spark, and it’s clear this is part of his personality he will have for ever more. So, it’s looking very positive for Leo!

When we asked the people looking after him to describe him, they told us: “Leo is a lovable bundle of energy!” We’re happy to go with that. They also said: "When he gives you his soppy eye look it's very hard not to give him a big cuddle."

We agree! Look at that face...

Here are some more photos of lovely Leo...

Thank you for sponsoring Leo!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
