Lola and her favourite things
Posted by Elizabeth Murphy
Welcome back to The Puppy Pen!
It’s time to catch up with wonderful Lola…
We’ve missed that adorable face!
We have noticed a theme with Lola… she seems to always enjoy carrying a toy in her mouth.
Whether it’s her favourite ball…
… or her chew toy…
… or her cuddly unicorn…
She loves them all.
Lola obviously takes very good care of her toys!
She also loves having her teeth cleaned… with a bit of help!
Super dental hygiene is important for Lola to ensure that she remains happy and healthy.
What else does Lola love? You may remember from Lola’s first official training update that she enjoys a snuffle mat… well we can report that she still loves a snuffle mat!
Snuffle mats are brilliant as they make mealtimes very exciting and intriguing. They are also very mentally enriching as Lola has to work for her food and sniff out the treats which are hidden within the fleece folds. This fun activity helps Lola to feel calm and relaxed throughout the day.
Lola also adores spending time with her pup pals. Just like humans, friendships are important for dogs! Regular social interaction with other dogs is an important part of Lola’s training. We want Lola to feel happy, relaxed and confident around other dogs that she may encounter whilst out and about with her future deaf partner.
Whether it’s a pub lunch with old friend Orbit…
… or zoomies with good friend George…
Lola loves it all! Is there anything better than seeing happy pups playing?
That’s all for today. We hope you’ve enjoyed discovering a little more about lovely Lola.
We are so grateful for your continued support of Lola in her training journey.
Until next time, from everyone at Hearing Dogs, thank you so much for sponsoring Lola.
