Merry loves beach-time, but maybe not bath-time

Merry really, really, really loves the beach. We showed you this a while ago when Merry posed as a mer-dog. However, she needs to learn that the more she enjoys herself by the sea, the more she has to have baths to get rid of that salty water and sand.

Above, you can see Merry contemplating the water. She can’t quite decide whether she just wants to feel the sand beneath her paws, or whether she wants to run into the sea and have some fun.

The decision becomes easier when some friends come along. There’s plenty of running about, as you can see from the pawprints in the sand, but no actual bathing this time.

Still, Merry needs to understand that beach-time gives way to bath-time, even if there isn’t a swim involved (especially if there isn’t a swim involved!). We think she looks very fetching in her polka-dot shower cap. However we’re not sure she agrees. What do you think?
