Merry, meet Duck. Duck, meet Merry.

Merry’s socialiser Carolyn lives on a farm, and there’s always plenty for Merry to amuse herself. She used to take an interest in the chickens and ducks, but her attention has slowly been captured by a particularly large Muscovy duck.

She likes to run round and round and round and round the duck, without bothering it at all, then loses interest and wanders off.

However, in this photo she is – unusually – still. You can see that dog and duck are mutually regarding each other. We’re not sure what happened after this photo but whatever it was, we suspect the duck won.
