Micky has fun on the beach, and in a buggy!

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Micky continues to have a lot of fun with his volunteer puppy socialisers, Peter and Hazel. We're very lucky in that Peter is something of a budding photographer, so this will mean plenty of great photos of Micky Blue-eyes!

"This is Micky waiting at the start of the Great British Dog Walk on the steps at Hughenden", Peter tells us. The Great British Dog Walks are a fantastic way to meet other dog-lovers, have a nice walk, and help raise money for the Charity. Micky looks happy in these photos, but, more to the point, you can actually see his eyes in them! And they're not really blue!

This is further proof that he doesn't actually have blue eyes, they're a lovely dark brown instead...

Peter describes what's going on here: "This is Micky sitting around waiting for us on a campsite in Folkestone last week." He's looking quite excited about something, don't you think?

Maybe he's excited about this! "Waiting in his buggy for ‘Dad’ to hitch up the bike to tow him around", as Peter describes it. What a luxurious way to get about! No wonder Micky has a happy face here.

"This is Micky trying out the sea for the first time, then running to get dry after his swim."

Yes, we can see he's definitely trying out the sea. We have lots of great photos of sponsor pups doing this! It follows a familiar pattern of 'shall I have a go...'

'... yes, yes, I'm going to have a go...'

'... actually, it's quite big, and it moves around a lot...'

'... right, I've had enough now...'

'... and now I'm going to run around to get dry! While looking like I'm having even more fun!'

And finally, this is Micky jumping for a ball with Hazel in the garden. Action Micky!

Micky is absolutely full of beans and clearly having a wonderful time. This is thanks to you, his sponsor, so until his next update, thank you for supporting him!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
