Outdoors Ned, indoors Ned, sleepy-time Ned

Posted by Brendan Cooper

Ned is doing really well with his soundwork training, which we'll tell you all about in your next printed update. In the meantime, here are some more photos provided by Sarah, his Bed and Breakfast volunteer, showing what a full and happy life he continues to lead!

Outdoors Ned

Ned loves the outdoors, and where he lives there's plenty of it!

Sarah tells us what's going on in this photo: "It was absolutely freezing when we took a walk on the beach, but Ned didn't care, he loves running in and out of the sea. It was so windy it blew his ears back!"

We think it's quite a striking pose. What do you think? Comment below please!

We've already shown you Ned with his Christmas prezzies, and here's another Christmas shot. Sarah explains: "This was Christmas Day, Ned was waiting patiently for his Yorkshire pudding and turkey gravy!" Given that he's a Labrador, he adores his food, so he's clearly showing his ability to wait here.

Indoors Ned

This is what happens after the outdoors activity. Sarah's cat looks like a small Ned! "I've shown this photo to people before", says Sarah. "They've asked who the other dog is!"

You can see that Ned hasn't quite dropped off - one eye is open. However...

Sleepy-time Ned

... isn't far away! "This sums Ned up, fast asleep having a cuddle after a walk", says Sarah.

We hope you enjoyed this Pupdate, and we'll be letting you know much more about Ned in his next printed update. Thank you so much for supporting him.

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
