Oscar's adventures

Posted by Maria Kazanji

Oscar has been up to lots of interesting activities since his last puppy pen. He has been learning how to be a superstar puppy and has been attending puppy classes. Here he is with his 'big brother' charity dog Jude and his classmates, labrador Tegan and cocker spaniel Elvis. All of them waiting very patiently for that 'yummy' treat coming their way!

Oscar and his 'big brother' Jude are best buds and they like to spend a lot of time together. They can get up to all sorts of antics. Here they are 'chilling out' at home pretending to not be up to anything mischievous!

Oscar and Jude are a super team and are very helpful around the house and enjoy lending a helpful paw where ever they can, like making flat pack furniture for the family. Not sure Oscar is as interested in building as Jude is!

After all that furniture building, it made for some very tired pooches!

Oscar even likes to be helpful where he can on his own, he enjoys entertaining the family with his musical talents by playing the drums!

I'm sure it's a delightful noise for all the family to enjoy!

Oscar has also had a trim since his last puppy pen. Here he is at the groomers!  Oscar at the groomers 977x550.jpg

He is giving his best 'rockstar', 'BOOP' and superhero looks!  Which is your favourite?

We have some great before and after photos.  Doesn't he look so smart and grown up after his trim! clip 833x483.jpg

It is very important for our pups to be comfortable at the groomers as we want this to be an enjoyable experience for them as it will be somewhere they have to visit on many occasions throughout their lives. We do make this an important part of training as we want all our dogs to be comfortable being handled especially when it comes to them being placed with their partners.

There we have it, Oscar has been a busy boy! Until next time, from everyone at Hearing Dogs, thank you for sponsoring Oscar.

Hi, I’m Maria and I work in the puppy sponsorship team. It is so rewarding to see these cute puppies grow up and become amazing life-changing hearing dogs. The support these dogs give a deaf person are second to none, and we couldn’t do this without all of your support and kindness, so THANK YOU!
