Otis is the friendliest, most lovable tyke

Otis is a born explorer. You can see it in his face: he's got that 'climb every mountain' look about him.

He solves any problem and overcomes any challenge. He’s looking forward to his biggest mission yet – becoming an amazing hearing dog!

When he isn’t exploring, he’s entertaining people. His volunteer puppy socialiser Rachel tells us: "In the morning he wags his tail so hard that the whole back half of his body moves from side to side. Also, his ears are always getting wet because they are so long. He's always getting them in his food, with more of it on his ears than anywhere else."

Then, it’s time to run around in the garden, which means jumping in and out of leaves, chasing children, and having lots of puppy-cuddles. He still finds time to entertain though - back to Rachel: "My husband and children were putting up a tent in the garden and he kept running off with the mallet, as well as running all over the tent!"

And when he isn't exploring or entertaining, he loves puppy snoozes, either in his favourite box, or under the sofa.

When we asked Rachel to describe him, there was no hesitation: he's "the friendliest, most lovable tyke!" That's our Otis!

Otis is already learning fast. He’s so good at ‘sit’ that he follows people around, sitting all the time, in the hope that he’ll get a tasty treat.He also seems to have wisdom beyond his years - he'll assess a situation first, consider all the angles, and then go for it. Again, you can just see it in his face. A wise head on such young shoulders!
