The lovely life of Riley

Posted by Elizabeth Murphy

It’s time to find out how your adorable sponsor puppy Riley is getting on!

Riley has been having so much fun in his training and he can’t wait for you to hear all about it.

It goes without saying that Riley is still super cute, like a cuddly fluffy teddy bear…

So what has Riley been up to? Well, he has been to his first puppy class. Riley has settled in brilliantly to puppy school and he really enjoys playing and learning with his puppy pals.

Here is Riley having fun with a snuffle mat.

Snuffle mats are brilliant, especially for puppies, as they make mealtimes very exciting and intriguing. Riley has to work for his food and find the treats which are hidden within the fleece folds. This is a fantastic way of encouraging Riley to use one of his natural behaviours… sniffing! Snuffle mats are also very relaxing and calming for puppies.

Riley has also been having lots of fun adventures on his walks. Walks are not only great exercise for pups, but it also lets them explore lots of interesting sights and smells. Riley especially loves going on walks with his fellow fluffy friends…

We’d love to know what they are whispering about!

And the exploring doesn’t stop there! Riley also loves discovering fun places in the garden… here he is having a lovely sit down on a comfy patch of grass.

Riley doesn’t spend his whole day outside though, (as much as he loves it!)

After a busy day of walking, running and playing, Riley enjoys getting cosy and relaxing on his bed. Here he is looking super comfy…

It would only be right to end this Puppy Pen episode with some extra cuteness.

It seems that Riley has been practising his adorable puppy eyes… it’s a 10/10 from us!

So that’s it for now… we hope you’ve enjoyed hearing about a day in the life of Riley!

Keep an eye out for Riley’s next puppy update to see what he gets up to next…

… and from everyone at Hearing Dogs, thank you so much for sponsoring the adorable Riley.
