Riley is having so much fun!

Hello and welcome back to Riley’s Puppy Pen!
One of Riley’s favourite activities is attending puppy class.
Puppy classes are run by our fantastic and highly skilled hearing dog trainers, who are always thinking of new and exciting ways for our puppies to learn.
Riley ready for a brilliant puppy class
Here is Riley investigating a fun treat dispenser. Riley needs to figure out how he can get the treats out of the turning tubes. This is great for Riley’s mental stimulation, as it helps to keep his mind active and engaged. It is also a fantastic way of encouraging Riley to use his sense of smell to retrieve the yummy treats.
Riley is also learning to explore and develop his sense of touch. Gradually introducing Riley to different textures and objects will help to prepare him for new and interesting surfaces that he may come across as he moves through his training.
“This feels funny!”
Another important part of Riley’s early training is making sure he feels comfortable meeting and interacting nicely with other puppies. Luckily, Riley seems to have no problem with this! He loves playing, learning and exploring with all of his puppy pals…
Here is Riley (and friends!) showing brilliant impulse control as they wait patiently in the rain for a treat from their trainer Laura…
Soggy doggies
We are pleased to report that Riley and all his friends got a delicious treat for waiting so nicely. Well done everyone… teamwork makes the dreamwork!
That’s all for today. Riley is loving life and having the best time in his training. He is the smartest, happiest little puppy who is one day going to change a deaf person’s life and help them to reconnect with the world around them.
This would not be possible without your kind and generous support.
So, until next time, from everyone at Hearing Dogs, thank you for sponsoring Riley!
