Rusty animated

Posted by Brendan Cooper

In your last Rusty update, we left Rusty looking a bit wet!

Fortunately, his volunteer puppy socialiser, called Averil, made sure he was properly dried off afterwards.

If there's one thing cuter than a slightly wet little puppy in a bath, it's a nice warm dry puppy wrapped in a towel.

Averil also sent through some photos of Rusty having a lovely time with Leo, her 11-year-old Border Terrier, in a local wood. There was something we noticed about how their heads were moving...

It starts with them both staring into the distance thinking about whatever little dogs think about...

Then Leo says 'What was that?', while Rusty continues to think...

Then Rusty says 'What was that?' and joins Leo in looking off-camera, stage right.

So, we animated them!

Same with a sequence of shots with Rusty looking ahead (very cute!)...

... then down...

... then left (his left that is!)

So again, we just couldn't resist animating them!

We hope you enjoyed watching Rusty animated! He's such a fabulous little boy, always on the go, that animating him seems appropriate somehow. Thank you for sponsoring him!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
