Rusty is all cuddles!

We'll say it again: Rusty is all cuddles!

First of all, he just looks, well, cuddly. You can’t really resist him. If he could speak, he’d say ‘I’d quite like a cuddle please.’ He can’t speak, but his body language says it all.

So, you pick him up and give him a cuddle. Then you put him down, and he goes for a run-away-round with his little puppy pals.

Then he’ll want cuddle times again. Which, of course, you don’t mind giving him because he’s just so incredibly cuddly!

In between the cuddles and play time, Rusty also likes cardboard boxes. He’ll slowly demolish the really big ones, but the smaller tissue paper boxes are for pushing around with his nose and then sleeping in.

He’s also got a bit of a thing for garden clippings. He writhes around in them because they feel so nice and scratchy and cool.

But it’s mostly about cuddles with Rusty. A typical day goes like this: wake up, cuddle, cardboard box, cuddle, food, cuddle, garden, cuddle, snoooooooooooooooze… and repeat.

Rusty has shown real versatility with his training. We were quite surprised: we thought he’d just want cuddles, but it seems he has another quite determined, adventurous side.

He just wants to do everything – waits, sits, downs – because it’s all a new adventure. It does admittedly help that he gets plenty of cuddles during his classes, but he doesn’t need much encouragement.
