Sandie goes shopping!

Super Sandie is very excited to welcome you back to The Puppy Pen!

It’s time to begin a fun day of training and Sandie appears to have woken up with extra fluffy, fabulous hair…

“I woke up like this”

Just like us humans, it is important that Sandie regularly brushes her teeth. As clever as Sandie is, she can't quite brush her teeth by herself, so she does have a little bit of help with this... 

It looks like Sandie thought this toothpaste was especially tasty too! It is important that Sandie has good regular oral hygiene to ensure she is happy and healthy.

Teeth brushing complete and now it’s time to start the day’s adventures.

But first, there is always time to chase a ball…

“Come back!”

Important ball chasing done and now it’s time for a trip out to the shops with trainer Izi.

Superstar Sandie behaved brilliantly and had perfect focus on her shopping trip...

“I think these ones will look fabulous…”

“… actually, I prefer these ones!”

Who knew that Sandie was such a shoe expert?!

Visiting public places is a vital part of Sandie’s training. We want Sandie to feel comfortable in busy environments such as shopping centres, so that she can happily and calmly accompany her future deaf partner wherever they may want to go. It’s all a fun adventure for Sandie.

Once again, Sandie is showing how calm, relaxed and focused she is – all the qualities that will make her a perfect hearing dog.

Sandie has had a brilliant day of shopping and exploring, so now it’s time to go home and have a well-deserved rest…

We are so proud of how amazingly well Sandie is doing in her training to be a life-changing hearing dog. Sandie is approaching the final stages of her training now and it won’t be long until she is helping a deaf person to leave loneliness behind and reconnect with the world around them. How exciting!
