Why is Scout so happy?

Why do you suppose Scout is so happy?
Is it because she's made another furry friend, a Labradoodle called Lottie?
Labradoodles are a cross between a Labrador Retriever and the Standard, Miniature, or Toy poodle. You can also have Cockapoos (Cocker Spaniels and Poodles), and if a Cockapoo and a Poodle have a puppy, that's called a Cockapoopoo!
Maybe Scout's happy because she can sometimes just stare out of the window, thinking about which deaf person she'll help?
Or perhaps she likes the variety of life as a hearing dog in training, being able to rush out into the garden and join in the trampolene fun?
Or could Scout be happy because she has toys...
... and rugs that can be used as toys...
... and snuffle mats that can be used as toys or rugs?
A snuffle mat is a great way to keep Scout entertained. Hide treats in it, and she'll play with it all day digging them out! Or, just sit on it, as per above.
Anyway, back to the theme... it could be that Scout's happy because she can sun herself on a lovely warm patio?
Or, failing that, sun herself inside a lovely warm corridor?
Actually, we think we might know why Scout's so happy...
It's because she passed her Puppy Four Star award!
Woooooo!
That's right! Here she is again!
Well done Scout! We're so proud of you.
The Puppy Four Star tells us she's done really well, and the next huge step for little Scout is to do her Hearing Dogs Accreditation. This is where everything will be tested, to make sure she's ready to be matched with a deaf person.
She's come such a very long way, and this is because of your support, through thick and thin. The last 18 months have been challenging for us all, so we are especially grateful to you for sponsoring Scout. So once again, from all of us at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, it's a massive, heartfelt thank you!
