Storm: The mindful and nature-loving sunseeker

For Storm, every day is a day to be savoured. He loves nothing more than feeling the grass under his paws and watching the insects and birds flutter by. 

Unlike his namesake, this easy-going boy softly pads around, finding sunny spots to bask in. One day, his calming companionship will help a deaf adult or child to live a life free from fear.  

With his silky jet-black coat, Storm prefers to nap on a human lap. Alongside giving the best cuddles, this little Labrador loves learning with his trainers. 

However, without a doubt, Storm’s favourite friends are his soft toys — whether sleeping or exploring, he’s sure to have a plush pal by his side!  

“Storm is incredibly easy to love,” said Nickie, his Volunteer Puppy Trainer. “Every morning, he leans against me for chin and head rubs. He then gradually slides down my leg until he is asleep on my feet.” Adorable! We’re told Storm is even sweet when he’s attempting to follow Nickie’s very puzzled cat through their cat flap…  

With so much love to give, put simply, Storm is a joy. We’re certain he’ll become a ray of sunshine in his future deaf partner’s life.
