A day in the life of Toby
Posted by Maria Kazanji
Welcome to Toby's eighth Puppy Pen! And thank you for sponsoring Toby!
We thought you would like to see how Toby likes to spend his days.
Training is very important and most days Toby will practice his soundwork, visit busy places and settle nicely when out and about. However it's not all about training, it is just as important for our dogs to have down time and for them to do the things they enjoy doing the most. Like us humans they need a good work life balance too!
So what does Toby like to do on his days off...
Going for walks! He loves going for a walk where he can sniff, explore and learn all about his surroundings, this is definately the highlight of his day.
After his lovely long walk he likes to play with his many toys, here are just a few.
Which do you think is his favourite? He looks quite keen on the carrot but then, we have told you before how much he likes a football!
All this walking and playing makes for a very tired Toby so it must be time for a nap.
Awwwww how snuggly does Toby look when he's sleeping, we wonder what he is dreaming about?
After his nap it must be time to explore again, this time the garden. Looks like Toby enjoys a spot of gardening too!
He seems very happy with his patch of bluebells.
All this gardening and exploring will get the tummy rumbling of a very hungry boy. It must be dinner time.
This is when Toby does his very best 'Oliver' impression, he’s very cute but we don’t think his volunteers with fall for it and give him some more.
Content and with a full belly it's time to relax and chill in front of the telly to keep up with what's going on in the world. He recently very much enjoyed the King's coronation, he was mesmerised by their sparkly crowns.
We're sure he thinks he should have a sparkly crown too, King Toby has quite a nice ring to it don't you think?
Well what a fun-filled day that was and it certainly makes for a very happy Toby!
What a happy, playful and sweet boy Toby is, everyone that meets him falls in love with him. Thank you again for all the support.
