Tyson indoors, Tyson outdoors
Posted by Brendan Cooper
Tyson has been able to get out and about more since lockdown restrictions have been eased a little.
And how...
Isn't that an amazing photo? Jennifer, Tyson's Volunteer Puppy Trainer, was able to take it when they were going for a walk in the woods together. The dog in the foreground is her own dog, called Izzy, a Welsh collie x Bernese Mountain Dog, which is a very unusual combination but very striking.
Tyson is in the mid-ground, looking towards the sun. Perhaps he's contemplating his future as a hearing dog, helping a deaf person to leave loneliness behind? When he's partnered with a deaf person, they'll be able to go on lovely walks like this together.
From one extreme to another - Tyson getting ready for a trip to the tip!
Even these kind of trips are all part of Tyson experiencing the world. As a young puppy he was gently brought up to be confident in new places, and to be happy in new situations. So it's actually really great that he's perfectly content to sit in the back of the car surrounded by strangely coloured packaging. It shows he's been very well trained.
Let's go back indoors shall we? Here's one of Tyson's favourite spots - half on the stairs...
... and half off them!
As well as going for walks with Tyson, Jennifer has made sure he's mentally stimulated at home by playing with his toys. His favourite is Blue Bunny (can't imagine why they called it that...)
He certainly gets plenty of stimulation from it!
Tyson has also been able to meet up with his brother, Tango!
They were both members of the 'T' litter (we name our litters as they go up in the alphabet, a bit like storms!). He has another brother called Troy whom we hope to show you in future Pupdates. They all have a lot of fun when they get together, as only puppies can.
See what we mean?
That's another wonderful photo showing Tyson, Izzy and Jennifer's other dog Bo in the background. If you're ever in doubt about whether dogs smile, just look at that photo!
Let's round this one off with a video shall we? It's the gang of three having a bit of downtime, just enjoying each others' company while they have a bit of a communal chew.
Could there be three happier dogs?
That's all for now. Until next time, thank you for sponsoring Tyson!
