Tyson is still a puppy - and still having fun!
Posted by Brendan Cooper
We've just come into possession of some fab videos of Tyson, supplied by his Volunteer Puppy Trainer, Jennifer.
So, let's take a look!
You'll be pleased to know that they're of Tyson having lots of puppy fun. No harm in that, is there?
First up, here's Tyson enjoying the grass. By 'enjoying' we mean lying in it and occasionally taking bites out of it. But if that's what a puppy enjoys then that's fine.
The grass isn't really that long, but then again Tyson isn't really that tall. Not one to be daunted however, Tyson realises that the most effective way to overcome such obstacles is to bounce above them! Here he is with Jennifer's own dogs: Bo, an 11-year-old Blue Merle Collie x Lurcher cross; and Izzy, an 8-year-old Collie x Bernese Mountain Dog cross. They're all great pals, and they look like they're enjoying themselves. Not as much as Tyson though, who is having a whale of a time!
Back indoors now, and Tyson is still on the go. We couldn't really think of a better way of describing this than simply telling you it's Tyson being a puppy! He's so funny and gangly in that not-quite-grown-into-his-legs kind of way that puppies have. He's also full of beans as you can tell from that tail.
Another thing we love about that video is how it shows Tyson in his safe, domestic environment with Jennifer's family. It's so important for our puppies - for any puppies - to have these positive experiences at the beginning of their young lives. Even though Tyson is playing and loving life with his volunteer family, it's all essential to him growing in confidence and learning to take on challenges.
Did we say full of beans...?
Not quite! Or at least, not all the time. For every up, there is a down, and Tyson can only be a hyper-energetic puppy for so long before he crashes.
We quite like it. We seem to feature a snoozing puppy in most of our Puppy Pen updates. Just for good measure, here are some more photos of Tyson sleeping soundly...
That's all for now! Thank you for sponsoring Tyson!
