Tyson: Water, tennis balls and snoozes (and a boopable nose)
Posted by Brendan Cooper
We recently took a look through all of Tyson's photos and noticed some definite themes emerging!
First up, water. Tyson absolutely loves it. He's not selfish about it - here he is sharing it with his pal Tango.
He's actually very sociable where water's concerned. He's shared it lots of times, as you can see below.
So that's Tyson with Tango, Bo and Izzy, all having a good old splash!
Tyson enjoys 'big' water...
... and 'small' water, so much so, he'll happily tuck in, whether alone...
... or, again, very amicably if not very elegantly, with friends.
Next up: playing with balls. If there's one thing Tyson enjoys at least as much as water, it's with his various balls.
He likes the dark green one (that happy tongue tells you everything...)
... but he's also pretty happy around the light green one.
Or maybe he prefers the red one?
Having said which, he has plenty to choose from.
After playing with (and drinking) water, and balls of various colours, it's time for Tyson's next theme: snoozing. He's really good at it, and can do it pretty much anywhere.
There's the normal place, that is, in his comfortable doggy bed in the study...
But Tyson doesn't do 'normal'. Never did. Here he is as a young puppy showing that he can sleep under a sofa (and no, we don't know how that shot was taken either).
Then he showed he could sleep on his back too...
Then he became quite keen on the stairs...
... and alongside furniture...
... and under furniture (once he'd grown too large for under the sofa).
He was happy sleeping with moo cow toy...
... or, if you were lucky, between your feet...
... or on top of you!
And if Tyson put his mind to it, he could sleep wherever and however he wanted, tangled up every which way.
But actually, we think Tyson might have like the fireplace best. Well, you would, wouldn't you?
Finally, here are some shots that we couldn't categorise but really wanted to share. They just come under the label 'Lovely Tyson being lovely'.
Lovely, yes, but magnificent too, in his burgundy 'I'm learning to be a hearing dog' coat.
Did we say finally? Not quite. We also noticed that Tyson's nose has become quite boopable.
Boop!
Boop-boop!
We hope you enjoyed seeing this bumper compilation as much as we enjoyed putting it together!
Tyson is such a great dog, and we're really looking forward to seeing how his training journey ends. Until then, as always, thank you so very much for sponsoring him.
