Victor is so sweet and affectionate

Welcome to your Puppy Pen update!

Victor's continuing to love life as only a puppy can. There have been a few changes recently, with a new volunteer socialiser called Louise. Together they're having plenty of fun.

Louise says: "Victor remains the hungry bundle of cuddles he's always been. He's a very sweet and affectionate boy and loves to lean his head against a knee for a  little snuggle."

What was that about wanting a little snuggle? Here are two photos Louise took for us that show how snuggly he can be...

Louise tells us more: "He's still the biggest lad in his litter and really enjoyed meeting up with his brothers and sisters recently at The Grange. What a lovely family they are."

What was that about being a lovely family? Louise pulls out the stops again with another fantastic photo. Victor's the big one in the middle! What do you think of this photo? Tell us!

He now walks beautifully on the lead, as you can see below. This is a great start to being a great pup. Look at how attentive he is, making sure he walks alongside people rather than pulling or stopping. This means that when he becomes a fully qualified hearing dog, he'll happily accompany his deaf recipient wherever they want to go.

How do you think we manage to train him so well? Ask us a question below and we'd love to answer it.

And finally, Louise tells us that he enjoys his impulse control games - especially when he plays them with children! Do you know any dogs that are this well behaved?

That's our Victor. Still a hungry bundle of cuddles, but not quite so little as he was before!

Thank you so much for sponsoring him. Don't be shy - ask a question below!

Hi, I'm Brendan. I write all your sponsor pup updates, printed and online. It's a hard life, writing about cute puppies who, with your support, will grow up to help deaf people leave loneliness behind. I am partially deaf myself, so I have some insights into the challenges deafness can bring. However, I don't have a dog of my own: I have two Maine Coon cats who are quite dog-like and take up most of my time!
