Why is Victor so happy?
Posted by Brendan Cooper
This is Victor's happy face! You can tell he's having a great life. Why is this?
Louise, his volunteer puppy socialiser, gives us some hints: "Victor is very playful and social, and loves meeting other dogs - particularly if they like a game of 'chase'. He especially likes playing ball with his Hearing Dog puppy class mate little Freddie."
She sent us these photos of them sort of playing with a ball together...
... and then forgetting about the ball and just looking happy together as only best friends can.
As well as helping Victor have a lovely life learning to be an amazing hearing dog, Louise is also teaching him obedience. Below you can see them together, with Victor walking very nicely on his lead. We call this 'heelwork', and it's how our pups walk patiently alongside people so that they're no fuss in public places. Victor really enjoys his puppy class, so that's another reason why he looks so happy.
And here's another fantastic photo from Louise showing Victor wandering into the sunset. He's a dog with destiny! Perhaps he knows it, and perhaps that's also why he's a happy chap.
Finally, here's just another photo of Victor that was recently taken in one of his photoshoots that we just couldn't resist adding. We've already seen his 'happy face' - this is his 'cheeky little face'! What do you suppose Victor is thinking in this photo? Comment below and let us know!
